They’re only ineffective when pitted against plot armor main characters. They kill tons of rebel troopers in the opening of New Hope.

They’re depicted as fodder troops but the “ineffective” bit (stormtroopers can’t aim) is a fan-added layer applied after the fact, and the references used to “prove” said ineffectiveness is all scenes where they’re shooting at main characters.

They won't even have guns in this faggots movie so missing won't be a problem.

The Walt Disney Co., after a more than two-year saga, has landed on its next CEO: Josh D’Amaro, head of the company’s theme parks and consumer products division.

D’Amaro’s appointment as CEO will be effective as of Disney’s annual meeting on March 18.

D’Amaro has been with Disney since 1998, starting out at Disneyland. He has worked across a range of business, marketing and operations posts within Disney, from CFO of Disney Consumer Products Global Licensing to president of Disneyland Resort and president of Walt Disney World Resort. He was promoted to his current post as head of Disney parks and cruises, consumer products and Walt Disney Imagineering in May 2020.
Here come the toys.

It was also there in the legends EU. The original kamino clones were accurate and well trained. Then some sloppy clones came along who were poorly trained. Then by the time of ANH the troopers were conscripts with varying levels of skill.

Where else were they super accurate? Because those troopers in the beginning of ANH were the 501st. Vader's fist. An elite legion that picked from the best of the best.

None of that shit was true in 1977.
Well of course not anymore because it all happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ...

In all seriousness, lucas had episoides 1-3 sketched out when he did ep 4. I don't think either of us has any idea how much detail he had planned out. But he definitely had clones planned though.

Bob Chapek was from the parks. That didn't last.

This is the second time they tried to take a CEO from the parks division.
Chepek wasn't really in charge, most everything that came from his tenure still had iger's fingerprints all over it

It's true Chapek had to tolerate Iger as a new "co-Chairman" at the time.

because the board didn't feel confident in letting Chapek have the full reins-- which made Chapek have to clear everything with Iger. You're right.

While you make a fair point, the "stormtroopers can't aim" is also invoked in The Mandalorian in-universe.

I think they also mention in comics how the stormtrooper helmets are terribly designed and block a lot of your view at best when you're trying to shoot.

But yeah, in most cases when they're not facing plot-armored characters and/or Jedi, they tend to be dangerous as shown in Andor, or even the old movies when Obi-Wan mentions how accurate the hits were against the Jawas' sandcrawler.

You'd think the Empire would just send a handful of K2SO droids though to squash any rebellion, those fuckers are fucking terrifying in Andor season 2.

The Jedi shit needs to fuck off for awhile. Ep 9 and Obi-wan/Acoylyte has given everyone lasting fatigue.

Starfighter better not have any of that shit if they know what's good for box office.

Disney being so insistent on adding big Hollywood names to sell Star Wars now is baffling and half the reason this IP is garbage now.

Sweeney as Mara Jade uses whatever that nonsense in Rebels and Ashoka etc is to pop back on over to whatever time frame Madno-Grogu ends and gets with Luke to create a new true timeline, they are jedi bunnies and repopulate the galaxy with big titty lady jedi and non-blue-milk non-soyboy man jedi

There Disney, now pay me
