The game includes characters from all era's of Star Wars. You deck will include Ground units, Air units, weapons/upgrades, and events. The game has a "your action", "my action" back and forth where you deploy units and try to destroy your opponents Base to win the game. The leader you pick will determine the strategy of your deck which includes things like Aggro, Control, Mid-Range, etc.

Anyone playing?

No, but I remember the card game from the '90s, and it was extremely complicated and the games took forever. I never bought into it but I knew a couple of guys from high school that bought it when we were all playing magic back during antiquities, and they loved it because they were Star Wars nerds.

I thought about getting into it but it just looked too much of a pain in the butt and relying upon you getting like a Darth Vader Luke Skywalker card to build a deck around.

It is actually a new game that came out last year. The game from the 90's and 2000's was Star Wars CCG. It was a great game, but this one moves a bit faster and is easier to get into.

You can get a Vader and a Luke starter kit decks for $30. Or try the game out for free against AI, on Force Table
Yeah, I figured it was brand new game, I was just reminiscing about the old days where it was the wild west of CCGs because of the successive of MTG.

You had a ton of different card games coming out like Star wars, Vampire the masquerade, Rage, MechWarrior, etc. he always knew somebody in school who would end up trying to get other people into one of those, you might pick up a couple of starter decks. I remember rage being pretty fun, and a buddy of mine was huge in the MechWarrior and if I recall it was enjoyable. Just one of those other oddball games really ever had a big following and I don't think they had very long print runs.

Actually a pretty fun TCG. I played a few games with a starter deck. I like how ships have their own battlefield

Unlimited is almost a dirty word for an old SWCCG collector like me because back then the unlimited cards with the white border were considered cheap and too common as they were reprints of the original limited black border cards.

I still have the full collection somewhere in two thick binders, one for light side and one for dark side.
