Group A - Rain & JD: Rain has the best PvP in that group and I think with JD only having to practice ZvP he'll get through.
Group B - Polt & Bomber: I want Grubby to advance but he really got screwed imo. First stands a good chance since his PvT is amazing but I'm still rooting for Polt & Bomber, they are two of my favorite terrans.
Group C - Innovation & Taeja: No other option.
Group D - Maru & Scarlett: Jim stands no chance imo and Scarlett will beat out MMA.

Twitch is laggy as hell for me the last few weeks, can barely watch 360p. TI3 managed to avoid it with ingame spectating, no such thing for SC2 though

I still don't understand that game. Both players refused to go air for so long that once Taeja did the game was over lol.
You can only transition to air in TvT if you stop trading for a bit. Taeja simply never stopped trading.

Taeja is on fire, as in, I have no idea how he steamrolled through Rain, Bomber squeaked out a close victory that broke people's hearts, Jaedong's ZvP is finally good enough to beat Naniwa and First is completely unremarkable. Hoping for Jaedong vs Taeja finals with Taeja delivering once again so JD can change his nick into Jaekong.

There are also rumors of Innovation being signed by Acer, which would be huge.

Scarlett sent a cryptic tweet saying her ZvT will improve. I didn't hear anywhere official that it will be Terran. I guess it could happen that KeSPA can't match what Acer is throwing out but I feel like sniping someone from a KeSPA team like STX would be very difficult.

As a Zerg player, its unbielevably painful to watch bane/muta getting destroyed by marine/widow mines every fucking times...

TBH I wouldn't be surprised if fomos wrote that article purely based on TL/reddit speculation, but the past tells us when korean web reports on "rumors", it's pretty much done deal.

Fomos is usually pretty legit and it looks like STX has responded directly as well. Sounds like this is round2 of Korean esport unions being butthurt over rich foreign teams poaching. Sounds like TSL drama redux.

Yeah, Kespa players are first and foremost owned by Kespa, shame on Acer for not knowing that. The thing is that there are most definitely contracts this time, so should also have a say in it beyond just a lot of hot air. Although it would be weird if they didn't have some plan for the players in place with 5 days until the disbanding is supposed to happen and didn't inform the players. That leaves PL with 6 teams, which is almost unsustainable. OGN apparently won't cooperate with Gom, which is the dumb decision since it's the one way for korean scene to flourish to an extent. It's simply not big enough to support 2 team leagues. Maybe we will see OGN pulling out of SC2 completely after this and the new legue will be ran by SPO TV + Gom ?
