WotR is amazing. Just be prepared it is VERY deep in terms of pathfinder rules
Based on this, I went to go buy it only to realize I already own it and had only played 60 minutes of it. I think I wanted to beat the first one before playing it, but I got about 30 hours into the first and then kind of lost interest. Maybe I'll give WotR a shot.

Gabe's new yacht:

Given how big he is into diving, I was disappointed how little they touched on that aspect of the ship. I hope that wall of names is the people who bought the most while playing the least hours.

We should just have Amod Amod rename this thread the "Gabe's next megayacht donation fund".

And I'm not even being facetious here. I like Gabe. If anybody deserves to have a fleet of superyachts filled with hot bikini babes, it's Gabe. I regularly donate to his yacht fund.

The funny thing is that the whole ad is from the designer/builder or whatever Oceanco that has been co-opted as a Gabe meme because he showed up in a half second clip?

I've been diving for 25+ years and if what little bit they showed in the video is any indication of the larger area they filmed in, there really wasn't that people would find interesting to watch.

It's unfortunate, but objectively true, that diving is only super-appealing/beautiful in very few parts of the world. 95/100 times you'll see fish and other life, but almost everything else will be sandy and/or rocky bottom devoid of color.

I like watching these YouTube shorts from this guy that does lionfish extermination diving in the Caribbean. He says that red light doesn’t penetrate ~100 ft deep so everything looks gray and muted unless you bring an artificial light source.

I’ve never been diving myself. Seems like an expensive hobby, especially these days with fuel being so high.

I get that, was more talking about stuff I've read about it like the submarine garage, the hospital with hyperbaric chambers, and the whole research wing that allegedly is on the ship. The stuff they focused on just seemed like generic yacht stuff - oh wow, they have a nice kitchen, who would have thought it.

Also, maybe I'm a little nitpicky, but I thought their gear was a little pedestrian. This is probably just me projecting, but if I was a billionaire, you wouldn't see any bubbles - I'd have some crazy closed loop rebreather setup.
