Code Vein 2 demo on next fest. First one was... well, some liked it, some didn't.

As a huge Arcanum fan, I'm definitely going to check out New Arc Line.

I've not really gone through any yet, to see any standouts. next fest games that aren't coming up for 5 years also wearing a bit thin..

A bunch of these are from previous next fests as well.

I played mandragora demo last week. yeah, seems like a decent potential metroidvania. demo doesn't let you play other classes yet though. Felt ALOT like Longest Vigil.

I did post them in the indie games thread, but ill repost here too.

Just gave the Windblown demo a spin. Feels great and definitely has enough potential that I'm going to save it for release.

That's a look i wasn't expecting. Anyone find any banger demos?

Dispatch was the best of the demos I played from the last Next Fest and it's available again for this one. The devs are ex-Telltale, and the writing and VA work is up there with the best of Telltale's stuff so far. Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of that type of game. I mention it even though the demo isn't new mainly because they just announced the release date is this coming Tuesday. (Edit: It is episodic though, so the full game isn't actually out until 11/12.)

Haven't seen anything new for this Fest that grabbed my attention yet, but I guess I should at least check out the two games Owlcat is publishing soon. Rue Valley's demo was updated for this one, but I think Shadows of the Road is still the same demo that's been around for a while.

I actually enjoyed the demo for Star Trek Voyager. If they try to release it as a full $40+ dollar game though, no thanks.
