sadly it works, squid game s2 was the highest watched streamed show last year even though s2 sucked and it was like 4 years since s1. s2 was also just a split half season with the second half dropping this month i think

If that isn't some weird form of the shrinkflation, I don't know what is. I mean it might be somehow they made the Doritos into Pringles stacks, but they're still little triangles on the can so you're getting ripped off.

I don't buy that junk food anyways, except your tax dollars pay for some magicians to buy that stuff.

Interesting use of an extremely iconic Highlander song. They should have ended that preview in the way the song ends. Show a hint of the real big guy that I assume they have not shown. Then go out quietly, like the song..."Who waits forever anyway...."

I can see where this budget went. It looks like they are holding nothing back due to cost, which is kind of nice.

I am looking forward to it.

Wife and I are rewatching them. The seasons are only 8-9 episodes and we forgot a bunch of stuff anyways, it’s entertaining.

I never watched much past Season 1 and am just wrapping up Season 4, end of 4 is like 2hr long episodes.

Season 2 was trash, Season 3 was better / good, Season 4 has been a mixture. The whole 1st part of the season seemed like a waste. Mike and Will are reduced to inconsequential and their side quest is stupid. Sassy Black 7 year old Dustin is annoying as all hell. Max turned from annoying somewhat in Season 2 to pretty much out shining everyone. Including Millie Bobby Brown or whatever 11s name is, don’t know if it is her as an actress or the way they’re handling 11 but holy cardboard. Zero presence or personality from Season 1. Nancy and Steve are really the high points of the entire thing for me. They actually feel like characters that have developed and grown, and not just become caricatures and paint-by-numbers slot-ins.

Also, not sure about the design choice of Vecna. He reminds me of Thrawn from Ahsoka. Instead of menacing he looks like a frumpy 45 year old dad.

Yeah it has its issues. I don’t care for the teenage drama/romance stuff, season 1 definitely was the best due to the absence of that. I liked Bob in season 2. It’s a show that suffered from its popularity imo, they just had to write in romances for all the actors people wanted to see hook up. It’s still entertaining.
