I stand by my prediction for both this and Death Stranding. I just couldn’t be bothered to think of something different to say for this movie.

If they can make something as memorable as the original that alone will be an incredible success. It's still got some pop culture mojo thirty years later even though it's godawful.

I think that's how we got Vigo Mortensen as Aragorn. His son was a big fan of the books and wanted his dad to play the role. Definitely says something about being motivated to make your kids proud of you.

Raul was great though. I don't remember what he passed away from but I didn't think he was that old.
