My wife and I really liked it. But I'm also a sucker for detective noir which this very much tries to be. It's a supernatural detective noir basically. Colin Farrell is great at the very least.

It's dialogue heavy. As long as you can hear the talking and voice over well yes. It's not super complicated or anything but there is some subtle foreshadowing.

With subtitles on sure. You'll have to follow the dialog as Chanur says, there's some action but it's mostly talking.
