Not sure if that many of our athletes do that since Colorado Springs has an Olympic training center for high elevation.

Unless you're talking about training in space or something.
i had read that northern europe had higher altitudes to work under. its been decades since i read about the altitude training thing. maybe its better to train here now and training abroad is more of a problem.

Should just make them racial/ethnic Olympics these days to get back into the original spirit of the games. Let's see whose genetics reign supreme.

How would you measure this, though? Since all non-Africans ultimately derive from a small group that left the continent, there's actually more genetic diversity between neighboring ethic tribes there than there is between Sweden and China.

Let the racist Democrats sort them out, obviously. Same way they decide which demographics get bonus points on SATs and who is inherently privileged based on a quick glance at skin tone.

Yeah the big hangup would be all the genetically diverse African tribal teams. lol

Can some of these medal wins be really counted as American when the athletes hate America and dont consider themselves American?
If you remove all the black statistics, the US has comperable medal totals to European countries.

Who cares if people train in the US from other teams? It's not like they're doing it for free and at the end of the day, our athletes are the ones who need to perform.

That's like if there was shooting competition and both people were using an American made rifle, then the other country won and you complain that they shouldn't be able to use the American made rifle. No, just means with even footing, our person got owned and we need to do better.

It's more that a lot of the foreign athletes are a product of the American athletic system. Lots of the athletes competing from other countries have lived here as teens and went through American HS and college athletic programs. Their excellence is due to the American competitive system and associated resources. But then when they win a medal for "Lantitola, a small island nation of 10,000 people", it makes it seem like that country was able to produce a top athlete. But in reality, the athlete's family moved to the US years ago because their kid showed promise and they wanted him to train in the best programs possible.

So if you include all the Black and Brown atheletes who train in the US, then the US is really top of the medal table?

Sounds like diversity is your strength.

It really doesn't matter to be honest.

It does matter. At least the foreign athletes come here legally and declare their status and allegiance to their home countries.

So, maybe you're right, legal foreign athletes living and working in the USA aren't the problem.

This is exactly correct.

Next time the NCAA D1 track championships are on? Watch them. The sprints have athletes from all over the world that do this.

It’s how it is and it’s not changing.

You may have blood from your shit hole country? But you were trained and developed here.

Again, rocky is a good example. He trained in Russia and won.

I'm not sure what we are discussing right now.

I am properly registered as a foreign agent. I got all the paperwork out of the way. I ain't going down on a technicality.
