Just watched the Drinker's review of this...

Is the motivation of her character seriously "they shot my dog with a poison that takes 3 days to kill it?" It's like whoever wrote this trash saw John Wick (a dozen years ago) and thought copying that would be a good idea, but without the balls to kill the dog.

Also, Jason Momoa is Lobo? I thought he was Aquaman? Forgive me that I don't watch DC movies, but what the fuck is going on here? Did they reboot the whole DC thing and just reuse actors? That's not going to be confusing at all.

Supergirl and Lobo are largely fine in this, it's just a boring, generic villain and various nondescript locations (literally brown planet with blue star, brown planet with yellow star, brown planet with... etc) that make for an unremarkable movie. It feels like a lower tier MCU movie from like 2014.

How did it not click during editing, or even while just shooting the thing... 'hey, we're having our vulnerable human just go stand over there and stare at the camera again waiting for something to happen to them for like the 10th time'

I have watched a lot of shit hating on this movie, so it ain't my watch history. Very, very suspicious.

Exactly, reboot means recasting. I would normally hold this against them, but I never thought he made a good Aquaman. And I have said for a long time (before he was cast as Aquaman) that I felt him as Lobo would be a RJD/Tony Stark level casting match. Then , I now hear he basically just phoned this shit in for this movie....
