Do you mean you couldn't figure out how to fish, or it was just too tedious and therefore "didn't work"? If it's the former, I struggled at first too. I'd click the button as soon as I heard and felt the bite, but it always failed. I realized after a while that you don't click the bite until the bite actually pulls the bobber under the water and bends the rod, THEN click the button to start fishing. Sometimes it takes 4-6 "bites" before the actual animation you should click for. Once you hook a fish, the mini game of keeping the fishing lure within the highlighted area is clunky for me, and I'm not great at it. I probably just need to practice. I really haven't bothered to fish more than maybe 10 minutes other than when it's required for a quest step in act 1.I never could get fishing to work , then again I have no patience and hate fishing IRL.

I probably didn't give it enough time. TBF the directions were not the clearest.Do you mean you couldn't figure out how to fish, or it was just too tedious and therefore "didn't work"? This was me, I only tried it for the first time standing on the edge of the ocean getting buffeted by the waves in pursuit of the "very special" whatever for the quest. It took about 10 min to get the hang of it for me, but then it was pretty easy.Do you mean you couldn't figure out how to fish, or it was just too tedious and therefore "didn't work"? yeah I got tired of it too, I guess they wanted to drag it out to make you feel like you got your $$ worth. I also got OP leveled and looted some OP weapons that made the end game a cake walk.I am trapped in the Expac, I mean, it was great at first but it won't ever freaking end. CALGON TAKE ME BACK TO THE SURFACE. I have made like 8 levels, from 40 to 48 while down here, I was close to the start of Act 2, OMG I am sick of doing things for the reefbound.
At least they are tongue in cheek about it: "Oh, so just I just need to do X for you, right?" But narratively its super sparse other than questgiver A) -> B) -> C) D) E) F) Next Area rinse repeat. Don't get me wrong its fun and all but if I knew I was stuck down here I probably wouldn't have started it.
Fake Edit: You know, I haven't actually tried to leave, I just thought I would be finished with it by now, my goodness. It's a lot of content, or maybe I am just slow, which wouldn't be surprising.
Greetings, Folks, I come bearing good news and bad news. I’ll start with the good news: this is my first community post. And now onto the bad news: the next balance patch is in beta. It’s a lot of nerfs, and I mean a lot, AND it introduces diminishing returns with stat stacking; after 20 points it starts, then they get a lot worse after 40. So as you can imagine, if confirmed, several builds are now either bricked or no bueno entirely.
Furthermore, Gear also got sweeping nerfs across the field of crit chance; some items got spared, others, well, not so much. Now I have no idea when this patch will go live, and yes, I know a few people requested and suggested builds, but it will take me forever to fix this
