I don't know. I enjoyed the shit out of it. It was fucking hilarious to the point that it made my question just how dark my sense of humor is because there were several parts that I felt like I was the only one laughing.

I actually thought the first movie was underrated and greatly enjoyed it, despite there being almost too going on with 3 different connected storylines. Affleck played the savant character subtly and did it well and it was a much more grounded story.

This one, he's plays the character more over-the-top in a more "laugh at the retard" way. And there's a more more dumb shit as well that completely ruined any suspension of disbelief.

Action scenes were fine for what they were, but I didn't sign up for a buddy-cop action comedy which what this movie is closer to.

Saw this since it was free on Amazon.

I did not like this one at all really. I like the first movie a lot. They really did a number on Affleck's acting of his character this go around. Traded his stoic social aloofness/literalness for over active social retardedness. He also really did nothing with his ability outside of be a conduit for the now super group of autists back at the home and shoot a gun for 5 minutes.

Story was "muh feels about the innocent illegals!" and the main plot about the mysterious chick and her missing kid, meh. The action scenes were also a step down I felt, I was pretty bored of them once they started. Nothing really creative in them.

Overall, glad I paid nothing for this. :/

I just got done watching it, and you mean to tell me you didn't like his crack team of autistic kids doing surveillance for him!?!

It's definitely a way different tone than the first one. There were some fun parts I guess but overall it was pretty forgettable. Let's also not forget Mexican lady who gains the powers of autism and becomes a killer assassin, illegal alien girl power bitch!

I don't know what the hell they were aiming for, I don't care about illegal Invaders, so I wasn't really sympathetic for anybody. I have a feeling but probably do a third one and Mexican autistic assassin lady will be involved somehow.

I swear there was also a scene in the trailer where his brother were sitting on a boat drinking a beer or was that the roof at the airstream? I don't know if I just thought maybe something had gotten cut from the movie.

If you love autistic assassins and the power of autism, this movie is for you.

I didn't know anything about this going in. I didn't watch the first one. I thought Affleck was just being Affleck for a while. He is kinda dumb.

But then they brought in the Autistic A team and I just face palmed and turned it off.

Just finished watching this. The first one was much better. This is almost like watching two different movies. The way Ben portrayed his character in the first movie was a lot different in the second one. I preferred when we did not know the mystery woman. The brother dynamic was about the only good part. I did not understand why 8 years had to pass. That seemed a bit of a stretch that neither brother would have tried to contact each other, after what they went through in the first movie. This feels like it was written by somebody who only read the cliff notes of the first movie.

This is very forgettable..

It was sudden onset savant syndrome. It is a real thing. On extremely rare occasions, people with a traumatic brain injury can develop it and gain unbelievable abilities that they didn't have prior to injury. There was a sales trainer not to long ago that dove into the shallow end of a pool and had a serious concussion. A few days later after getting out of the hospital, he was able to sit down at a friends piano and began playing original complex piano compositions.

Yeah, it had a couple of funny moments, but those moments weren't supposed to be funny. Definitely a night and day difference between it and the first one, and I actually enjoyed the first one. I don't know who the hell directed either of them or the screenwriters, but it seems like there was a big tonal shift and maybe it was different people working on it, don't know, and I don't really care.

Been watching the this and the 1st one off and on. Done with 1. Me & the wife watched 'Good Will Hunting' last night and life has rode Ben Affleck HARD. I guess sticking your head up Jlow's giant ass will do that to you.

You didn't see the 3 seconds of her working out in the recovery hospital room? She turned into super autist (apparently with bleach).
I thought this was an entertaining way to kill some time indoors today. It was near 100 here so watching the Autistic A-team was fine. Probably will not watch again.

In that vein, finally found a watchable copy of Gladiator 2 , wish me luck!
