What show? It might be fun. And was the guy with the boulder blind or something?

In Japan it was called Takeshi's Castle. In America, it released as Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, and shortened to MXC.

Takeshi's Castle was recently (past year or so) on Amazon Prime for one season. Was a fun watch.

Named after actor and video game hater Takeshi Kitano (among other stage names), who is one of the hosts

It took me a minute, but the question is why are they sleeping in a bed without a headboard and/or why isn't one end of the bed against a wall, which would prevent the pillows from falling on the ground while sleeping.

Also, for most people around 6 foot and taller, their feet stick out over the end of the bed when sleeping on their back/stomach. So if the bed doesn't have a frame and the foot end is against a wall, you end up kicking the wall. Although Asians probably don't know much about that problem.

I’m over 6 feet tall and sleep on my back. My feet don’t hang over the end. Are you using a cot or something?

No, it's a king mattress but I sleep on either my side or my stomach. While side sleeping it's not really a problem (usually), but when stomach sleeping, you are slightly farther down on the bed, as in, the pillow maybe close, but isn't usually touching the headboard.

I occasionally move around a bit/kick while sleeping, so even while on my side, I have hit my head against the headboard numerous times and woke up due to it. I probably keep at least a 6 to 12 inch distance (I don't take nightly measurements) from the headboard when going to sleep on my side and if I wake up on my stomach, my feet are hanging off the end.

A king mattress is 6 foot 8 inches long. So there is not a lot of room to work with.

Furthermore, the people in that Gif don't even have a headboard, so anyone that moves at all while sleeping would have to sleep further down on the mattress or risk losing the pillow overnight.

ocassionally i sleep in my den/ it's above the garage so it has the attic roof and i didn't want to put the head of the bed on the wall (i'm not used to an attic roof, much less sleep in one) so i put the bed parallel to it. and yea once in a while the pillow falls down, but thats when i get up anyway, cuz my head is off of it. it's not like a pillow shoots out the instant you put your head on it like toothpaste.
