Never trust "user reviews", especially on Metacritic. There is someretardedshit that happens there.

If you want to trust any reviews - find a reviewer (or reviewers) who consistently aligns with your view point on games. That's generally the "best" way to do it. Likewise, peer reviews from people whom you trust and generally agree with is another good way.

Eurogamer is my favorite source for reviews. They aren't 100% perfect. But they're good. Real good most of the time.

And I'm not "shilling" the PS4. I just like it and believe that great shit is coming for it and it's really fun to be part of a console launch. I am EXCITED and rather easily excitable.

Honestly knack is exactly what I thought it would be, a mindless game I can play co-op with the kid. Will most likely pick up the lego one also. Knack seems to be geared to kids by the way they handle the co-op.

Being excited for a game or console is shilling now. You must equally hate on every game, advise spending $400 on a new graphics card, and buying a console is complete heresy.

I hoped it would be a little better, closer to a 7. Maybe it'll trend upward as more come in, there's only 17 reviews on it right now and generally games get around 40. I didn't expect greatness, but I hoped for some mild fun.

Lego is a good choice, it's gotten pretty good reviews and looks fun. I might exchange Knack for that or Need for Speed. Not sure how easy it is to send stuff back to Amazon (never had to before) or how easy it would be to just drop it off at Walmart for an exchange.

Yeah back in the day I had friends that would steal shit like CDs and games from stores and then return them at wal mart and get shit for free.
