RE: Battery Life. Been playing literally all day long and have had 0 issues with the controller running low.

Slightly annoying issue: I don't see a way to specifically set up speaker configs like on the PS3. When set to Linear PCM it seems to output 7.1 as a default, which my receiver doesn't like when I'm only using a 5.1 setup - it pipes static/white noise through my side surround speakers. Fixed this by setting the Audio to prefer DTS (and Dolby would probably work too), but it'd be much better if the options were as varied as the PS3s and I could just set it to output LPCM 5.1.

Eurogamer:
Dead Rising 7/10
"Dead Rising 3 is the weakest in the series, then. It's no kind of technical showcase for Xbox One, although that didn't really bother me once I got into it"
Dead Rising 3 review Eurogamer.net

Lococycle 4/10
"If you're after something that shows off what your new console can do, LocoCycle is almost perverse in its corner-cutting and lack of visual thrill."
LocoCycle review Eurogamer.net

Bit of info from the reviewers:
"Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome and the Xbox One platform itself are still under embargo... Review copies of Forza and Ryse were delayed, and arrived later with reviewers than the console and the digital games. This is the reason Microsoft gave us for the later embargoes, at any rate"

BTW when me and Xarpolis were playing Resogun we had a moment when the game (for both of us) dropped to around 15-20FPS. He even commented over the mic. Not sure the deal, thought it was always 60FPS.

Me and TheRage had some crazy latency issues on our first match up - but it settled down some. Otherwise didnt notice any FPS dips really.

Yeah, it was strange. Almost like the game started running in slow-mo. It was still fluid and not-jumpy... just slow moving. It's very similar when you do an Overdrive while in solo play.

Might be lag if its programmed to keep both players in sync, dunno sounds really odd...

Memory leak for an early title probably isn't impossible either.

In typical fashion, I ended up buying one from some kid off craigslist yesterday (even though I had one preordered but cancelled). I'd feel bad, but I don't. Haven't even bothered with any of the games I purchased as I played Warframe pretty much non-stop yesterday for free. I really enjoy it for what it is, but wish the controls were a little tighter. Still a great game to piss away a few hours on. Also, absolutely loving the new controller - the speaker doesn't bother me like others, and I actually like the led. Its really comfortable as well, and the little plug on the bottom for headphones is ingenious. Can't believe it took them that long to make that a thing.

Third person action/shooter with rpg elements. You pick a frame and start working your way through missions. You will level up your Warframe, your weapons, and obtain mods to customize your Warframe along the way. It's FTP so there's a cash store but theres nothing in the cash store that cant be grinded out/obtained in game that Ive found so far (although the time sink to do so is pretty steep). There's 15 different Warframes each with their own powers, strengths, and weaknesses. When you begin the game though you will only be able to choose one of three, you gotta build or buy (with cash) any others along the way.

You can play missions solo or with up to 3 other people co-op and so far has been a blast. I dropped 20 bucks to pick myself up the Warframe that I liked the look of the most (Banshee) and a couple of the weapons that are best suited for it and been leveling.

Here's a vid of some gameplay

Warframe looks kinda fun, but it looks like I'd have to make a serious investment into investigating the game and what I should do and work towards. Especially since the game doesn't fucking tell you a god damned single thing after the basic little tutorial from what I could tell.

You shouldnt have to do too much investigating early on unless you plan to drop some major cash and buy the Warframe and weapons from the store. It takes time to level up and be able to build your own stuff so you have plenty of time to learn what's what along the way. There was a vid posted a few pages back that covers mod Fusion which helped.

Warframe Wikiis a good resource for reading up on the weapons, warframes and mechanics.
