I dunno, I have a job. I preorder the game if I want it and then it's on my front porch when I get home, ready to play. Im pretty sure the majority of people dont get on and play at midnight of release day.
Honestly at this point i cant tell if you're trolling or if this is you being serious. While i agree that the DR3 aspect of kinect listening is admittedly awesome for situations such at that(added depth is $) the PS4 is no slouch. Nothing the XB1 has shown makes it stand apart (unless you want to count negatives) from PS4. They pretty much ruined the rebirth of KI with this pay model and if they didnt have Titanfall it would be cancelled. Sure its also on PC but most of the people i game with only own business laptops not full gaming desktops(since i know someone will say "omg just buy it on pc bro!")
In all seriousness , only reason i dont want to see the Xbone tank is for the simple reason of them wanting to incorporate your voice and body into gaming , why i enjoyed the Wii when it released cause of this fact. Then the support and its limits and the power of the system really couldnt do much more then sword swings. I grow tired of the same shit being pumped out in sequels , give me cool shit like its mentioned in that article albeit gimmicky and its only way forward is only gonna get better when more creative people embrace it along with gamers. Whats so wrong about that?
I am fine with either system suceeding , im not a fool to pick one system and let there be only one and zero competition. That shit isnt healthy for any business , if PS4 does it better , so be it. But they are not pushing the PSeye from the information i have seen thus far.
Eh the Wii(nintendo in general) does nothing but pump out the same shit every system really. Wii-U needs a much larger 3rd party support or to have their 1st party developers come up with completely new IPs.

I'm pretty sure that the last generation taught us that Motion Controls suck and will always suck and they are not a replacement for a controller or mouse/kb and never, ever will be. That shit with DR3 sounds purely obnoxious and the Ryse stuff is completely unnecessary. We willalwaysbe able to do somethingfasterandeasierwith a button/key press than we can with voice or motion.
This x100. Anyone remember how Microsoft was going to have people on the PC play on the same servers as Xbox players? How about how MS was starting a huge initiative to promote PC gaming with Windows 7, and make the experience of playing games like the xbox where you didn't have to install the program first and could just run off the disc? How about, as Sean mentioned, all the hype surrounding the Kinect (which I bought into like an ass), or the PS move controls, and how it was going to make FPS and other genres of games amazing? All we got was jumping around like assholes on a white water course in Kinect adventures. The Wii was fun at first, but the controls got in the way of you know, the actual game. I have an Xbox 360, and a PS3, and a high end PC for gaming. The PC gets the most use, followed by the Xbox, and the PS3 is our dedicated Blu-Ray player. I was 100% sure I would purchase an Xbox One over the PS4 before all of this used game DRM and kinect horseshit. I don't even really buy or sell used games. It's the principal. I understand that MS is trying to future proof their box by making so much of it tied to the interwebs. But what they are doing now seems much like what SOE did with EQ2, and their game engine.

That aspect is indeed immeasurably gay, but the other part was pretty awesome.
