The only outtage I've seen in playing ALL day (f' snow) on PS3 and PS4 was the maintenance. And it was brief.

I think if you're going to post about how easy emulation is, you need to at least post a picture of your BS/MS/PhD in engineering or some related field. Mine is coming in a a few weeks so I'll wait for further comment.

Looking at that upcoming game list Sean posted.... January through March is going to hurt my wallet. Looking forward to so many games!!

Man, I'd almost forgot I owned a PS4 until I dusted tonight. Thing hasn't been turned on in weeks. Looking at upcoming games it appears I should have indeed waited until next spring. The games available right now (by and large) are absolute fucking dogshit.

I haven't turned mine on either, but through no fault of the system. Just trying to play through my back log of games before I get sucked into some new game for endless amounts of time.

My biggest problem with AC4 is Ryse. Going from a gladiator to dainty assassin is not a fun transition, I wanted to just kinda kill everything and am really awful at combat in AC4. Also hate the follow missions. As a result I'm not all that far in the game

Interesting thing a friend (programmer one) pitched a muse about at our tabletop gaming last night.... since both the XBone and the PS4 are x86 based this time around, he's musing if it's going to be possible with a little work to "dual boot" XB1 and PS4 off a PS4.

My immediate reaction was no way.... but then it started to sink in that they're not really different outside of eSRAM and DDR timings...

Amusingly if it does become a doable hack XB1 stuff would no doubt run better on the PS4 hardware...

Press 0 once to counter only when you see the red icon for countering. It's a but like learning to time your attacks in Batman

They also allow you to increase your DPS, to ignore them kills your pirates when you take over ships / forts!

theres plenty of employable pirates in the sea. the caribbean must have been a pretty fucked up place with thousands of dudes just floating around on rafts

just watched pirates of the carribean 1 last night, my immersion has gone up 100x in game. i still suck ass at multiplayer though, i'm just a walking victim
