Let me preface this by saying I took a 10 mg Ambien a little while ago, and my thoughts are not entirely my own right now. The letters that I'm typing are literally dancing up and down on this screen. Something is unusual.

Anyway, onto the long con. Microsoft is pulling the con, but I think another American company has the real reigns of this con.

Let's go with the facts first. These facts are all about Xbox One. Microsoft rather ballsally showed off the XBone with the assumption that all of the current xbox 360 addicts would pledge their soul to MS just to have one. That line didn't really work out that well, so they began the great back pedal of '13.

Next thing we know, Microsoft is kicking out the boss. The spot is ready for taking if just such an individual were to appear.

Finally, the Xbox, despite all of it's backpedals, is STILL having a release shortage.

All of the above statements seem similar to another big US company. One that happens to rival MS directly for their bread and butter.
My conclusion that APPLE is somehow in control of Microsoft. While Steve Jobs has died, maybe they pulled this Ray Kurzweld theory into existence where a computer program is now Jobs and is using his knowledge of everything to take over computers for everyone.

Robo-Jobs will be the new CEO of Microsoft, while also still having a hand in Apple.
It just makes so much sense. MS has been doing nothing but apple type strategys this console release, and it shows.

fuck, what am I writing about now? I just blinked and opened my eyes again and I forgot my last thought process. In other words, my bed is moving all around, like I'm on a raft in a pool. How's it doing that anyway?

Eh, there's nothing *that* unlikely about it. My nearest Wal-Mart got several PS4s in late last Thursday, and so had them on the shelf.

Of course, they sold out the next morning, but anyone who might have looked that morning would have reported that there were PS4s in stock.

It occurred to me today that there isn't a single Fantasy title for PS4 yet. Diablo 3 should have been a launch title.

Well, that and there seems to be a discrepancy between what he says DLC costs and what is shown on the screen, he gets confused between 8 and 16 bit, he's not sure how to pronounce "Ecco" and he thinks Eternal Champions is a great game. Having said that, he's absolutely right to be angry about expensive new consoles not working properly and offering what is ultimately less "fun" than what we were playing 20 years ago.

High technology absolutely can be used to create game experiences that simply could not exist without it (Bioshock Infinite, for example). However, we've reached the point where we have tech for tech's sake. The biggest source of innovation, creativity and fun is the indie scene, where small groups of individuals are forced to work with huge restrictions and end up creating better games than the supposed triple-A developers.

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great time for video games, but it's not because of the marginal tech upgrade from the last generation. It's because game creation itself has become much more accessible and anybody with dedication and imagination can create something unique and engaging. All this arguing over Ps4 vs XBone is just the industry sucking its own dick and convincing the public they should give a shit. The public, of course, eats it up and asks for more even when they're the ones ultimately being screwed. Maybe I've become a bitter old man who reminisces too much about the good old days of NES and SNES, but I am totally not impressed with either PS4 or XBone and neither are getting a cent of my money.

Oh your thing is NA only. Interesting. I still think its easily going to get over 2m for NA, iirc isnt NA the majority of xbox sales?

Think the original sales number for Xbox in na was 700k or so. Obviously going to be a bit higher now.
