Ah yes, sorry, I meant Wii slammed it. Wii U almost tied it, though. And that's a 'failing' console system.

I'm not going to look past everyones "WELL JAPANZ GONNA BUY A MILLIONZ INSTANTLY!" arguments. If they don't I'll hear 'well they didn't give them a million', and all that jazz. According to VGChartz, which is probably out of date not listing Japan yet, XB1 was ~64% global sales of PS4 with several markets still unopened. Winning and won are two different things. Do I think XB1 will win? Probably not. Do I think it'll be less than 25% gap difference by the end of 2014? Yes.

Bottomline for either console is they're doing well. MS probably should've pulled a dickmove and under-supplied or done waves like Sony to create a sense of urgent purchasing, but alas they did not. They made a ton and shipped a ton and a lot were left on shelves. Now everyone sees those and assumes no one else bought any. Whereas you schmucks see a website say "out of stock" every other week and freak out, scouring the interwebs for ANY place that has one because, you know, they're totally rare.

I've got my XB1, you've got your PS4's. Neither of us have good games (shut the fuck up with Resogun shit) to play, and when that time comes real sales trends will show.

Oh yeah dude, its totally that MS didn't undersupply and do waves. Has nothing to do with the Xbox one costing $100 more, having worse fps and looking worse on all the shared games and totally fucking up the marketing initially.

It's a Nintendo system in Japan. It's likely saying XBOne is doing ok in the US, it's a skewed territory for the system.

Outlast is pretty decent albeit short for PS4 as well, Resogun was amazing, and the non-exclusives have been better - still happier with my PS4 than I could be with a XBOne. (And Thief once fucking UPS gets here...)

It's a niche game and it's getting niche game reviews - shouldn't be shocking.

80+ from a few, terrible from a few - mediocre for the rest - just like most niche games.

Ok I feel like a total yutz but how do you enter a username and password into a site while using the PS4 internet browser? I can select one of the boxes using the the left thumb stick as a mouse, but then when the keyboard pops up that stick changes into moving the cursor on the keyboard, and I can't get back outside the keyboard to enter my PW. The only option seems to be hitting R2 "Go" which then tries to login while the password box is empty. Da fuq am I missing? My excuse is that I haven't had a console since N64. Also assburgers.

That's hella disappointing, this was actually one of the games they gave away for free when PSN was hacked.

3m vs. 5.6m sold is a big gap. Resolutions on multiplats aren't improving and it's apparent developers give no fucks about parity. Also, don't forget about that price drop and game bundle now.
