- The UK is without a doubt a massive gaming market and it has been for a while. During the PS2 era the video game market in the UK was something like 3/4 of the Japanese market with half the population (most of these PS2 were Fifa / Sing Star machines though).
The only part of the article that is bullshit is that Nintendo controlling the hardware is what makes their games able to be great. False. The Wii motion controls and and WiiU touchscreen don't make mario and Zelda games amazing. They are amazing independent of the controls and would translate perfectly to PS4.
Europe and the UK are two different markets according to vgsales, and are not combined.

The previous medieval spin-off was easily one of the best PS3 game. In the whole serie the writing of the many side quest is regularly hilarious, tackling unusual subjects with a satirical angle, but the main story in Kenzan also had moments of pure classical brilliance (NB: the game is very playable with a little japanese knowledge - or guts - and the very comprehensive help of GameFAQs).
I stopped buying Nintendo products strictly because they focused so much and put so many big titles on handhelds only. I'm almost fucking thirty, I don't wanna be playing a gameboy anymore. I want to play shit on my expensive TV and sound system that I purchased with my adult money. Fuck off Nintendo, give me the Zelda that you showed at E3 2011.
I wish Sega would go bankrupt already so their IP's can be put to better use by new owners.
