I don't mind it too much, at first i didn't really like it but after using it it's pretty solid lol

How is the thumbstick grip? Just got a PS4 last week, and that's probably my only gripe is I feel my thumbs slip off the thumbsticks pretty easily.

The dual shock 4 thumb sticks are the things I like most about the controller. My grip feels way better on them than ok the ds3. I'm surprised you are having a problem.

Way better than DS3, absolutely. Not at all better than x360 controllers, although I believe better than X1 controllers.

I'm considering taking a file to them lightly to rough them up, to improve grip.

I bet there's a solution online. Especially if this is a common sentiment from people coming from (the superb) 360 controllers.

I'm using some on mine (no-name brand) to cover the wear - but I still preferred the original - had a better "tackiness" for my hands. My hands are super odd though, YMMV.

Saw those, and also saw that it ships within 2-4 weeks. I guess it's not a huge deal, but just ordered from a different seller. Will try out both sets to see which I like best. The extra's I'll give to my nephews that literally wear out their xbox 360 thumbsticks!

Ofcourse it will be a no but one can only hope, call it overrated but it was still great.
