Current sale for 20 bucks has me considering it at least although the latest DLC they released was such a clusterfuck that it was delisted off Steam, suggesting that Techland still has their heads way up their asses.
The difference between the night time experiences is absolutely tremendous though. In DL1 a lvl 4 chase meant they were constantly on your ass, there was a little bit of room error but not much. In DL2 they even added a new nightmare mode that added a 5th chase level (think of it like alarm levels in GTA or something) and you have so many more movement tools that people will challenge themselves to not use some of them and they still have to make semi-frequent stops to keep from outrunning the chase.
