1st season had confirmed that supes aren't as resilient on the inside as outside. Deep was also only fast in the water, which you can forgive him from not being in the moment because he was probably scared shitless he was in the water at that point. That giant squid tentacle presumably went up his ass and out his mouth to kill him.

Everyone complaining sure look stupid now. None of this ending would have made any sense without an entire season of filler. Kripke's reaching James Gunn level of honesty and ability to do more than 1 thing over and over without getting noticeably worse every time

There was literally an entire season where they took V and got super powers and then the V was killing them so they stopped and Butcher didn't and he got an omega tumor that became a V powered tentacle tumor.

Those kinds of credits only work if you have actual actors mixed in with the bunch with them as a true behind the scenes of what went down with them throughout the seasons

they rushed stuff and barely had their mega boss in the last episode as it was “let’s kill him finally so we can cum” then it was “oh yeah they like him also let’s fucking get him next and fuck his dog as well”. Oh yeah they like him too “let’s be extra mean to deep and inconsistencies the reason for death as we don’t care just kill him already”

and we had to look at that munchkin face one last time before the show ended just blah

Ok you guys suck giving the ending a pass. There was no way to saving the show but every fight was was just bad.
