The way everything has happened, its final. The Network isnt going to relent on anything. They only way the show comes back is with a Network move like Last Man Standing did and even then, the full cast has to be on board with her being back.

3 million nightly viewers vs 7 million on a weekly show with higher production costs is the difference

They have to make enough on Ads once a week to cover everything. And that is a large cast. With a huge staff. Much larger than Cable TV set in a fixed studio with nightly income 365 days a year over 10-22 episodes.
oh ok, got ya, yeah that show had some high priced boat anchors. 350k per episode for goodman gilbert and metcalf.

the fact that the excuse Roseanne gave for her tweets was abusing Ambien, but then she got mad at the show for depicting her as an opiate addict.... SMH.
b/c they made tv roseanne OD and end her life, they gave her no grace.

Ratings: “The Conners” Beaten By Everything, Drops in Total Viewers and Demo as ABC Orders Only 1 More Episode
its dropped another 180k people so still over 7 million watching? no idea how broadcast TV works anymore if 7 million viewing is considered "shut it down!" bad and Laura Ingraham is the top primetime cable news host with 3.

she has 3mil viewers but only 0.3 in the 18-49 demo. so the ad rates are very low

while Conners dropped total viewers, it ticked up from 1.74 to 1.8 in the 18-49 demo
only thing that beat it in the demo for the night was This is Us at 9pm

This is Us (NBC) 2.1 - 8.80m
The Conners (ABC) 1.8 - 7.75m
The Voice (NBC) 1.6 - 8.83m
NCIS (CBS) 1.3 - 12.14m

while NCIS got more total viewers, it is considered weak with it lower demo numbers

the ratings are shit compared to last year, but still the best ABC has right now

don't think anyone on the show will worry about not getting another season unless it drop below 1.0 and 4.5mil

One more on top of the original 10

They picked up connors as a new show with a 10 episode pilot in a. Sense. Had it succeeded it would get the full 20mrun sitcoms get. They added one, ie allowing them a finale.

Sometimes when a show is doing well they'll order additional episodes for current season just to milk it more. Saw it happen with The Gifted last year. Season 2 going strong now this year.

Ratings for this is no where near cancellation range. TvByTheNumbers has it ranked as "Likely Renewal":

Cancel Bear vs. ABC, week 5: ‘Splitting Up Together’s’ second season is off to a rocky start

But they write:

“The Conners” also fell multiple tenths from its premiere, but is still ABC’s highest-rated show of the season so far, and remains a likely bet for renewal. However, should the “Roseanne” spin-off’s ratings continue to fall, that could very easily change.

Because Michael Fishman's career is so hot right now

Dudes worth millions and after his production crew was nominated for an Emmy about 10 years ago decided he had enough. He only came back because he loved this project and the crew.

You talk like he’s hard up and desperate for a gig. He’s not.

You really trying to claim he's an A-lister because he was a prop guy on a show that was nominated for an award 10 years ago?

lol ok

What? No, I’m saying he walked away on his own terms, is worth $8 million and only came because to the business because of his love for the project.

Stop being dense.

You actually believe that? That's what all washed up actors say. It's a BS cliche that sounds better than "my career was in the shitter". Like musicians cancelling tours because they went to the hospital fod exhaustion. Everyone knows they actually OD'd, but it's just what they tell people.

Dude was taking tiny nobody roles within the last year or two. Double lol on a tv show he was a prop guy on getting nominated for an Emmy as "walking away on his own terms"
