I hadn't heard about this game until I got a random email about a second closed alpha test on July 22.

The Cycle is a free-to-play high-stakes PvPvE first-person shooter full of suspense and danger. Prospect for resources and other riches on an abandoned alien world ravaged by a deadly storm, inhabited by monsters, and visited regularly by other ambitious Prospectors. Trust them at your own peril.

Tell your friends to register before July 22, because the second round of Closed Alpha will allow you to team up with other players and drop together on Fortuna III. As a trio of Prospectors, you will be able to cover more ground and take on greater challenges but will also have to watch each other’s back. After all, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
Our first weapon attachments will be available this time, allowing you to further customize your arsenal. You will surely need that boost in firepower to deal with the reworked wildlife – some say they’ve even seen Marauders prowl the surface. On that note, insurances will be available for purchase with K-MARKS, so don’t hesitate to bring out the big guns!
Other new features include an improved progression system, access to your own private quarters and several quality-of-life improvements. If you already took part in the first Closed Alpha, then you will automatically have access to this one. If you didn’t, make sure to register with your friends for some trio action!
Oh, and keep an eye out for Cycle Spikes: the storm got its makeover and is louder, fiercer and deadlier than ever before. So steel yourselves and watch the skies if you want to stay in one piece.
