Merge threads if already created. I'm about half way through and while its not great its a step in the right direction. Not a ton of cringe worthy moments, somewhat raunchy and a few laughs so far, seems to get better the more it goes on. Hes still not trying to act but it isnt coming off as bad as his other movies over the last 10 years

I might be bias to this since Sandler is being somewhat raunchy finally

It does look a lot better than the drivel he's been putting out since Click.

Well, Sandler isn't credited as a writer on this one just two unknowns, so it has a chance to be good.

I liked it as far as Sandler movies go. I don't think anyone will ever play off Spade like Farley did, but Sandler does well here.

I wonder if he will ever get back to his weasel ways, he was so great in PCU, Black Sheep, Tommy Boy

Those movies dont suck because they were his first, not carbon copies like every other movie after them.

Which was better, this one or the Sasha Baron Cohen secret agent movie Grimsby?

Gave up on family comedy, skipped over fart poop comedy and went back to 80s teen/adult sex comedy.

Smart move may watch this on video.

It's a Netflix movie.

I watched it in the background while I played a game last night. It was decent for a background movie, but I shut it off about 15-20 minutes before it ended, it was getting boring.

Heard people saying the last cowboys movie he didn't wasn't completely terrible, turned it off after about 5-10 min pissed off at the world.

No way I'm falling for that shit again.

Yeah, this was still pretty lousy. Flat dialogue, tired raunchy humor (Ball sacks and old lady tits? *groan*), and a plot that just goes all over the place. Feel free to skip.

Not that horrible unless you have a soul-crushing hate for Adam Sandler.

This was actually decent. The raunchy stuff was more just "these are fucked up people" rather than artificial slapstick. There were a few good laughs, the acting wasn't awful. Definitely abnormal for an Adam Sandler movie.

The funniest character though:

The "Amex Fraud Department Investigator". I lost it when he said that.
