Interesting. there were some people guessing Expanse. I tried cross referencing Osiris, zarbar, etc.
Osiris did come up twice. station and ship. but.. .its also common enough name in space things, to not be a lock in.
sound like they were actually saying zephar or mispronouncing zephyr?, by this trailer.

looks like a mass effect-like

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a third-person sci-fi action RPG set in the universe of The Expanse..., You begin as a Pinkwater Security mercenary taking some routine shore leave on Eros Station, when your much-needed rest is abruptly cut short as chaos erupts and an escalating emergency forces the

COMBAT:
Control your captain in third-person, and gain the upper hand by making use of a variety of weapons, tactics (cover, command, etc.), and specialized abilities.
real time. 2 active companions.

The release version of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn will be available for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.

press kit release has some great info too.
Create and customize your own captain — Earther, Martian, or Belter
Owlcat games does appear to be MAKING this as well. not just publishing. how much did teh studio blow up that they can make so many games? ha.
And is this a AAA title? outer worlds, etc technically are not. not sure if Avowed was or wasn't a AAA budget. They talked about keeping budgets low and sticking to AA in the past.. less risk, higher rewards...

Alcon Interactive Group owns the TV rights to The Expanse. I don't know if that means they are using TV show elements, or if they also have game/movie/book rights as well, hence the accreditation.

they started a reddit. one of the good things owlcat games does. they make their own reddit forums, and mod them themselves. so they don't have to worry about insane lefty take overs of their subs.. as much.

Is the warhammer 40k game filled with as much reading quest novels for each mission as their pathfinder series? That's really a turn off. Put in a couple cutscenes and leave the romance novel stuff to the library.

Found an interview that stated:
Owlcat said fans of the TV show will encounter familiar faces, with some of the actors reprising their roles, but stopped short of naming any
which would confirm it is following TV Show canon.

I didnt think the Warhammer shit was nearly as bad as Pathfinder with the reading shit. Besides it does not matter anymore since they mentioned all of their games going forward were to be fully voice acted.

And im hyped as fuck for this.

I've said this before but that's just how Pathfinder modules are. It's Owlcat being faithful to the source material.

I wasn't expecting this IP, at all, but I am cautiously optimistic about this.

Also, Owlcat is definitely a woke company -- they just haven't been as in-your-face as many others have been.

Of all the new games that have been announced I guess at the gaming convention deal, I'm probably the most excited about this. It just sucks that they didn't conclude the TV series the way it should have been done after the books being finished. Maybe this might spark some sort of interest into tying everything up.

Many, is'nt this like 3 games all on the stove at once for them?

When half the company isn't faggots, blue hairs and DEI hires, it's probably alot easier for them to have multiple teams actually producing things of value. Looking forward to this as have loved all their RPGs. Wrath of the righteous has been my favorite so far, rogue trader being a close second though felt it fell off a little after act 3 or 4.

Meh its a Russian company so even though they might be "woke" its not up to our western standards of being woke, lol.

The expanse book writers are about the wokest cucks possible and the whole series was fantastic and concluded successfully imo. If the studio is a bunch of cucks and they make banger games anyway without trying to constantly write themselves and their egos into shit, idgaf what they believe and also it fits the source material in a way.
