Pools are about all I can watch of MvC and only then so much. It's the only time you get to see teams other than Zero May Cry and Doom Magnetos. Watch Thor, Captain America, Spidey, Viper, Viewtiful Joe, and Phoenix Wright, etc... are actually fun.

Having trouble caring this year. Dunno if it's just because MvC pools are full of such trash play or something else. It's fun to watch oddball teams but 2/3 matches I've bothered to watch are just dropped combos and no hype. So fucking bad after how good pools were yesterday.

Kusoru would have a hard time with a mid tier Marvel player right now. That game's players are super advanced now. The Meta on that game is so different.

High level play in Marvel is really good, but if you don't play Marvel I'm guessing it is hard to appreciate because how could you know what is going on? That is one of its downfalls, but the community for that game in some sections of the countries is still huge.

In some ways it makes it like smash. I can't appreciate smash when I see it played, because I don't play smash so it just looks like nonsense to me.

Games like Street Fighter are much more accessible. Even if you don't know what is going on, you still understand the simple mechanics of blocking, and attacking.

A lot of dropped combos in UMVC3, aren't really drops they are resets. It's still tough to pick up a reset tho.

If someone who didn't know Marvel watched me play they would scream that I'm dropping combos, but I'm really just resetting the damage scaling to set up a kill.

Well shit Cloud already lost one in early pools. Well there goes that Marvel Dream.

My other favorite, Terry Bogard also lost one early =(

People are reporting Flux just beat Fchamp into losers. That is so funny since Fchamp was making fun of him at the FGC house earlier in the week.

Yeah feel like this is the year Capcom either saves marvel or its dead after this year, specially with KI and MKX becoming better and better with each tourney.

KI is coming to PC now so hopefully it's at Evo next year. 66k watched Grand Finals and it was a really good finals too.

That was THE only hype match I've seen so far. Like... why the fuck did Clackwerk lose to Full Schedule? He cracked for no reason. There are so many names that I have never heard of in UMVC3 and they all play the same 3 teams.
