Kinda sucks he had such a good run, and the only match we saw was his Pool match...
I truly think if he switches to a high tier character he'd be Top 8 in just about every tournament. I watch him a lot, and he reads as well as any player out there. He's so damn stubborn with that Honda.

yeah I'm pretty salty about that and the whole pool / whatever presentation this year. Really not the way to do it and professional at all. If you want to force this 1 day top 8 shit you need a Red Zone on demand highlight button and be up to date on everything.

Thing is it's simple at this point: Every match in the Losers bracket *someone is getting eliminated*. That's what the people want to see.
I get that people will complain they're not showing winners, but it's really fucking dumb to not have two streams at this point.

Two streams would solve a lot (WHICH THEY HAD WITH SRKEVO1 and SRKEVO2 so fuck you smash brothers or whatever else..... breathe.......)
But they're still viewing this as the big screen at the tournament as everyone's view in from the outside world. Which just isn't true. We care about all matches going on at all stations because we aren't there. It is a production problem, not content, narrator, or whatever.. They just need to restructure how it is presented to the 100k+ people watching.. Really not that hard to figure out.

Yeah, I really don't get it. This shit is too popular now to Mickey Mouse this tournament. They're only doing harm to themselves. I had 4 of my buddies watching earlier for our friend, they had never seen a single FG tourney in their lives. They have so much room to grow, but only hurt themselves.
