No new game for a longass time now, updates like ultra only really excite the FGC (and barely).
Shadowloo is overall pretty unhype the last couple years I watched it. Literally just a bunch of Japanese players going over and taking their cash. Barely any competition.Perhaps i'm the only one, but this is the first i've even heard of shadowloo this year. FGC is a dying breed these days. #RIP
I guess you didn't watch the justin's marvel top8 matches.I didn't even find Evo 2013 hype either. FGC is definitely a dying breed.
Whaaat? Not every match on top 8 was insane but marvrel and sf4 were hype as fuck this year. Dat marvel intro was fucking awesome as well. Sian taking infiltration, PR rog v infiltration. Some really amazing matches and best yet IMO. The hakkan counter pick was great. Tons of awesome shit. Can't ever top daigo ultra parry but I had a blast.Shadowloo is overall pretty unhype the last couple years I watched it. Literally just a bunch of Japanese players going over and taking their cash. I doubt Rush Hour will be around anymore, Aquasilk has pretty much given up playing competitive and going to those weekly events/tournaments. It's a shame but i understand why hehThe only time I really give two fucks anymore is when the Asians visit us over here. Otherwise it's pretty boring anymore.
I'll watch NLBC only if Rush Hour(they haven't been on in a very long time), Lee Chung, or a drunk Art is on anymore. It's pretty boring watching the same guys win week after week. Those guys keep it pretty entertaining. Also Art barely streams anymore. He'll do NLBC when Spooky doesn't feel like doing it and some random Saturday's at Nextlevel now. He hasn't done a stream from his place in awhile. I stopped giving him $5/month.
I watched that on Monday night. It was pretty cool stuff and added a lot of the human element behind the players. The players talked about themselves and each other very candidly and it was good to see how a gaming community can change the lives of socially inept people like M2K for the better.I highly recommend watching this 9 episode documentary on the Smash bros: melee community. It's increddddibly well done, even if you're not a fan of the scene.. it'll probably make you one heh
