It is kind of shit but they start off by saying the fine print in out contract was we have to do this and then the proceed with a clip show. Clarkson does start putting sugar cubes in his tea and one point and doesn’t stop, that was the best part.

Was going to make a thread for the new show, but decided to just post here. Further update from Kajiimagi's post above....

TGT reboot, first 6 episodes released on 9/3/26.

First episode opening shows interactions with Clarkson, Hammond, and May, trying to give the show a kickoff boost. Have only gotten 5 minutes or so into episode 1, so no experienced opinion yet.

Still feels too soon for me, with the series ending back in 2024. Maybe won't ever be the right time, I dunno. The ending of Top Gear due to the Clarkson's drama with the BBC came about so unexpected, then them moving to Amazon really had no effect. The stooges were still there, so who cares what channel/platform the show was on. Now though, to throw fresh hosts into their roles, just seems off a bit. Change here just seems tough. Can anyone else fill their shoes?

I watched all of first episode, was fine I guess but it just isn't top gear without Jezza, Hamster, and Captain slow. I am just going to wait long enough to when I forget what they did in each episode and then rewatch.

I've been watching throttle house on youtube for years. It's a fun semi top gear ripoff but the guys are entertaining. Those two are fine replacements. The lurch kid is annoying.
