BST pet heals are much better, better pet flurry AAs, and pet procs.
You have to keep in mind that any pet spells hit ALL the pets. So their procs and heals get a massive boost from that standpoint.

Nah, beastlord is superior for this. I don’t think NEC is particularly amazing for most of the meta builds at the moment. Maybe that will change.
Maybe I’m playing a petcuck alt wrong, but on Kera I just focus on healing my pet and throwing a few dots on Kera and…that’s it? Also all my swarm pet AAs. Stuff all dies slowly but easily. I’m probably missing something but it’s kinda boring. Much prefer my clr/ber/mnk main that just melts everything with huge crits when I burn.
edit: I will say, basically afk leveling and afk 2.5k AA was a nice advantage over my main though.

That's about it: DoT em up, heals when needed, use cooldowns, fall asleep...
There are two DoT boosting cooldowns, outside of swarms too.

Starting to get burnt out on my War/Bst/Clr and thinking about making a new toon. Was considering SK/SHM/MNK or SK/SHM/ROG. Anyone have a recommendation that they think would be superior? I don't want to play a pet cuck. I want to be right up in the mobs face tanking it.

Slime dropdown in DN has been very solid for me. I know people are doing VT also.
for example:
I parked my brd/bst/mag there the other day. Left it around 5 PM.
Came back to my computer around noon the next day to maxed out 100 AA waiting to be spent.

Yeah im getting about 60+ AA overnight (usually 6-7 hrs) sometimes even more depending on slime spawns. The 3+ slimes spawn at the end of the tunnel, when you pass the little lake with the snakes in it from the initial slime tunnel. There is 3 that spawn there and if you get your dude parked just right you will aggro all 3.

I still like SK/Rog/Wiz fine. Does more damage than SK/Rog/Shm and can do everything except Seru atm.
The boss game play is hard casting two huge hitting Wiz spells, then waiting for them to refresh so you get melee/poison off. Cooldowns are mostly 10 to 15 min, but there aren't that many of them. It's mainly Twincast (10m) with one of the two 100% crit cooldowns 15m/30m. If RNGesus fucks you, you can manually heal casting level 15 tap (first one over 10 mana).
The AoE gameplay is round up a huge pack, make sure none are behind you, then hard cast all the AoE you can, on cooldown (2 lowest level fast cast + highest dmg spells after), while riposting everything for heals. Can get massive pulls with riposte/shield cooldowns too.

I still use SK & Wiz epic, as I have not hit SD cap.

I'm new to the server but this is what I've found and can't imagine there is any spot too much better than this. Huge room full of wandering Chetari's that con red at 56 and give like 14% per kill.

Replacing nec with bard gives way more survivability and just as much DPS.
Kind of a “source: trust me bro” but:
This has been *thoroughly* hashed out on Discord. People are killing 4/4 Seru on BRD/MAG/BST in now sub 10 minutes. I don’t actually think anyone else is doing that. Certainly not NEC/MAG/BST.
I personally swapped to BRD/MAG/BST and I was IMMEDIATELY aware of how much easier it was. Bard songs are amazing on this server, they perpetually stay up while you’re in zone and they have a huge impact.

BST mixes fine with RNG. My main is a RNG/SK/BST and there is plenty in the BST kit that helps bowing. Is it the absolute most meta thing out there? No, but it fucks just fine. The double attack increase aa’s, gelids claw? proc works on bow, pet is good dps and can be used to help in a number of ways. People get to caught up with the top 1% builds.

So finally got that epic today. I ran around and turned shit in, camped some more stuff I was missing. The instancing make everything EZ.
Now I gotta take him up to 60 to use it, lol. BTW this is all shit I ether ground for in VT and other places or just had lying around. Still need the rings. But sporting some 20/20 sit for now. Did the Voracity earrings this past weekend with my main dude and ranger. Hes close to 1500AA too. I was trying to hurry before this past weekend ended since I thought the 50% exp was going bye-bye. But to my suprise they kept it in toll PoP. Which is nice.
So I rolled up a newb of course, because of course I did... I had so much shit lying around from Vex Thal that it seems a waste to just let it rot in my bank.... Bought the hammer for like 1K green and leveled it up.
PAL/ROG/ENC Parking him in CoM for a bit to grind out those shield specialty AAs to turn that hammer into gods wrath. Its pretty EZ with Chanter on board. Charm some red con Gollum, got the ench bag that I stuffed with some goodies and Gollum is double hitting for 300+.

Yup. Affect swarms too, which was recently found out. Same with any haste effect. So, you can pocket frenzied burnout AA, have pet haste on a gem slot to hit when you spam your swarms, etc.

Has anyone else done grouping on Seru? Nulo and I did him yesterday and he took our haste from the normal +100% down to -30%, which I have never seen before when solo'ing him. It wasn't a normal debuff that showed up either and couldn't be cured. It was almost harder to duo him than it was to solo. WTF?

I was playing a. Rng/bst/rog for a while. 1100 aa or so with ok gear.( No augs, no seru ears etc).
Sustain on fights like Seru/Kera sucked. Had to hard cast heal a lot which killed DPS. Around 2500ac self buffed. Only managed like 2k dps or so.
I switched the ranger to a warrior and am enjoying it a lot more. Way way tankier and every toon has sets of melee DPS discs that are great. Also Bloodlust and that warrior version make it so I really don't have to ever worry about healing. And the double bloodlust is great for AEing as well. About 4k-5k DPS on average. Not amazing but it's been working.

Best AFk spot for me was the slime room with the hole that drops down below. There are 5 slimes you can afk aggro. Lumi posted an even better spot with the room full of wandering rats, but during the VDay event those roamers would eventually spawn as non aggro Followers of erollsi or whatever, so it wasn' viable. I Just equipped an item i wanted to have lego, spent all my aa, and went to bed. Next morning before work I'd pop online, change to a different item to powersource, spend all 100 capped AA, then afk again for the work day. Rinse repeat 24/7 for a bit over a week and done. Was perfect.

Well, that might explain why porting in my trader account with full bard buffs (to just sit there afk) didn't seem to help on Seru+1/2 with the MAG/BST/NEC, the 3 times I tried it (to see if I wanted to swap bard for necro).
