Just started some epics, which ones will still be good/useful once POP releases? Don't want to waste time if they're going to be crap in a week.

Mage epic will always be worth quite a bit since you can use it at level one and it’s always going to be the best way to level.

They'll pretty much all be outclassed by PoP, as was the case on live as well. Bard will have some usefulness until you get all the various resonance pieces, but it'll definitely become obsolete.
About the only ones I can think of will probably be the "clicky" DoT effects some of them have like Shaman, Necro, Druid, etc. And of course Mage for leveling.

I don't have a good memory of how it all plays out, but the following is a list from EQ Progress to get an idea. Melee haste has less value on the server due to server buffs. All epics will be useful to go toward Epic 2.0... eventually, I think.
Of the top of my head, these might be useful still:
Enchanter epic has 30% spell haste.
Mag epic will probably be good for AFK leveling and AA on alts, but I think I read the PoP level 65 pet is better than epic pet.
Wizard epic might be worth it for casting a bubble shield on the run while rounding up mobs to AoE.

The problem with the bard resonance pieces in PoP is that it might not fit into your BIS list which is still either a pure white attack build or a spell dmg build on this server. I doubt any of those pieces will be BIS for your 3 class in either a spell dmg or pure white dmg Hdex attack build. So I think the bard epic will still be BIS as a range.

GoD and OoW are great expansions. DoN in general was "meh" to raid as a guild, but for this server I think it would be a pretty wonderful xpac for solo play.

Ive never heard anything like that. they did say that this is where the EQ emu server community as a whole stops. As in there has been no other expansions done after DoN. But they did mention that others are being worked on by Eq emu community and that they will incorporate them if they are done. So I dont see why they would leave out DoN.

I don't use the SK pet, since it is mostly worthless at level 37 atm, which means it can only proc weapons that require less than level 37. I tried putting the ranger epic on it for slow on a few ToV bosses, back before Luclin, and never saw a single proc. It's also paper and dies easily without full outside buffs (CLR/DRU/SHM).
I don't play a shaman, but if it's not worthless, I would use the 4 slot bag set up listed in the Petcuck master BIS list that I linked a page or so ago. Utility is usually a Blackstar, yea. DPS would be the staff from VT end boss.

bst has whatever proc weapons I can find. One atm is the conflagration weapon. Procs a 600dd but I often see it land for over 900 + crits. Procs decent amount too. Then some other random one I found.

I know it’s not best in slot but it’s what I found and works for me. Also nice to take slow off my spell list as that nec DN weapon Procs easily. Tash + scent + malo, all AAs or Procs also make most spells land.

I'm a bit behind most because of time constraints, but what is needed to progress through Kunark and Veeshan's Peak? I am level 52 sk/rog/shm with 650aa. Do I keep grinding AA at 52, or do I level up and tackle kunark content? Just unsure about what grinding AA at 60 looks like compared to 52 and assassinating the DE in hate.

Dragon Necropolis (Velious) at 56 is probably the best XP for most people unless you have close to full Luclin BiS and can mass pull VT (Luclin) reliably at 60. You can assassinate the rats in the DN caves and should be able to handle large-ish pulls of them to get riposte working for you.
If you are wanting to progress all on your own, I would guess that you should be able to do all the flags to unlock Kunark/Velious at 56 and 650AA (moreso with how cheap Luclin gear is now). There are NPCs in the center building of the Baz that tell you what you need to kill for each flag (then hail the "memory" that spawns).

I'm just started out on this server last night. I rolled a Troll SK/Shaman/Rogue, but I got sick of big troll bullshit so I'm rerolling a dwarf. Does it matter which class is first? I want to do a Dwarf Rogue/SK/Shaman.
Edit: Nevermind, I found the Group Shrink AA and it works outdoors.
I did think about War/Monk/Shaman though. That might be pretty fun too. I also figure I won't have deal with two classes worth of spells. There are so many possibilities with this game. lol

I don't think it matters which order you chose classes in. There is also a group shrink AA that
Most race change illusion items are all/all on this server at legendary quality and there is at least 1 item that casts shrink already; all of which should be rather cheap. Using a shape change item also allow you get get through lock doors, so you will need one eventually.
