The Leopard spell is getting a bunch of negative feedback. It’s 3min duration, goes to song window, fades off as well as in bazaar, but most importantly, you have to stop what you are doing, target yourself to cast, then reengage mob.
So target’s targeting doesn’t work and it fades.
it’s been brought up in the bug channel and first dev reaction is “working as intended”. Further pushback and the dev starts some retarded take “positive feedback is more likely to get attention than complaining”.
So highlighting the fact it doesn’t use target target (unlike any other spell in game) is “complaining”.

The parses are showing about 350dps in Sleeper etc. The overall take is that it’s just a good dot that takes a lot more work to keep up, while losing melee and proc time while targeting twice. You also lose a dot spell gem that is otherwise cast and forget.

This whole Easter event kinda sucks too. Eggs you kinda want to level up for chances on good shit. Because everyone I opened green was shit. So just more timesink into leveling shit up. What is their thing with leveling shit up in this game taking so long? Its bad enough I have like 5 dudes to equip with like 20 items each, so even at THE BEST RNG in like ever, I would be leveling up at least 50% of those items for each character with these abysmal exp rates on leveling items at 65. Now they want me to level up some fucking Easter eggs too? Man fuck these guys. clearly they are NOT playing this fucking game at all at this point. And if they are they are not playing it for real. I mean I dont mind grinding for shit, a few hours here and there. But this shit is on another level.

Despite the initial pushback, they’ve already said changes are coming to Leopard. (Gee, guess the complaints were valid after all?)
Lowered from 3s cast down to 2s (plus any spell haste reductions), now a group spell vs single target, duration left at 3min.
Being a group spell I guess just makes this a viable Mag/Bst combo. The Shaman and SK pets are still dogshit at end game and get blown up by AEs / Rampage.

If you are trying to level up items solo, then yes it blows! However, if you’re in a PoFire group at lvl 65 with everyone blowing stuff up, it isn’t that bad. I think it took about 45min to take a Quarm bracer from plain to legendary for me the other day. This was with 0 server xp buff. Likely even faster now during this Easter event!

LOL even then, so say I got 10 slots of shit I need to level, per my 5 characters, thats like 1,125 minutes or roughly 19 hours. And this is supposed to be a solo server, and I like to play solo.

They had a recent change to shaman healing like Tnarg that makes it uninterruptible. I can easily handle Quarm and Seru+3 (haven’t tried 4) as SK,Shm,Rog. The heal still takes a decent cast, but knowing it’s 100% going to land makes it a reliable solid heal.

Let’s be real though. There has to be incentive and a benefit of Legendary drops. No one would farm a thing if it took 10-15min to level items from regular quality to lego.
we've got an entire month of Easter bonus xp now for you to knock these out at what is likely 30min a pop in a good Fire group

No one is asking for 10-15 min level ups bro. It takes me killing 730 POF mobs to level up an item. Its fucking crazy. And prices would adjust accordingly by the economy. Green/blue items are essentially worthless because no one wants to level the shit up. I vendor that shit from PoT save a few rare things that actually sell. Its making me play less and less. I dont know about any of you.

There is also the option of de-leveling yourself via the winged gal in bazaar and go back to DN and doing huge zone clears of mobs with fuck all hp to level your gear up. This is probably the quickest way solo, especially with 50% server xp bonus running.
You pay some trivial plat to de-level and the same plat cost again to re-level when finished.

The current set up has incentivized me to play other games.
Setting up a trader is ass and when I did it for Luclin, it took almost as much time to scan and set prices as it did actually playing the game. So I couldn't care less about what would happen to prices if they cut the time to level items by 75%. I would almost be tempted to play a solo self found server, if they made leveling items easy and all items bound to account only. Only I am not going to start over grinding out that slow ass AA bullshit ever again...
