The dots are pretty great with the recent boost. 1s cast and double duration. The problem is all of the other utility is worthless at end game. Slow doesn’t work, all stat buffs useless as everyone is stat capped, haste useless as haste is capped. Cripple is nice, but only used on Zeks, Quarm, and presumably Zeb.

Lol and what do you think CLRs do? They don't even get DoTs, no slow, no leopard, etc.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but are you saying burning 100AA levels an item 12%? That would be a rate of 800AA to fully level an item, which sounds insane. In PoF a group can level an item in 45 min from green which is probably the time it takes to get 50ish AA. That bonus aa item xp ratio is horrid if I’m reading that right.

dark red mobs give 0.17% item xp / kill
90 mins to level an item for me, but I'm sploiting the fuck out of mechanics

The big issue with item leveling is that it's something which is fine to do when you're just leveling, still need to AA, etc. Once you have to actively focus on doing it without any other reward, that's when it starts to feel like a slog.
I think once you're level capped, I agree that everything dark blue+ needs to just give red con item exp, AA exp, etc. But the devs already basically told us to fuck off when we went through this whole thing in Kunark. That they didn't want to do that because people would "trivialize" things. Yet at the same time they went and just blanket changed DN to be 60+, yet the mobs still have the stats of their actual levels.
It's another one of their weird stances where they say one thing and kind of do another but only very specifically. Like someone said, it's like they don't really play their own game/server and just kind of wing it on some level.

I'm killing yellow 66s in Zek. They give 0.14 per kill, so yes, 714 mobs for enchanted to legendary. That is a lot if your spec can not mass AE/swarm mobs. Takes me around 8.5 hrs for one item atm solo. Also POP really has no nice AFK place like DN in Luclin? PON has a few spots with several roamer but everything else is kinda static in pop

From what Ive read, Zeb's atk is so high stacking AC/atk debuffs are completely irrelevant. Most of the big guys say AC is not a focus of theirs at all. Target stats seem to be shielding and hdex. Many recommend having a monk/bst on the tank for extra block and bard runes.

This. 65 with almost 3k AA. No reason to kill anything for xp other than powerslot, which makes it super dull. Once you hit a level cap/AA threshold they should make it so that every slot becomes a powerslot so you can level up a whole new set of BiS in one go. Having to autopilot in PoFire for an hour to level one single item is just brain numbing. For the most part, everything else on this server is player friendly and somewhat respects your time. Why they decided to make this super slow grind just for powerslot doesn’t entice me to go farm my own legos, it just makes me not want to play at all until next xpac. I can already solo everything except Zeb so I don’t really care if I’m not 100% BiS lego

Started at about 3200 AA to level up items in PoF, have my mage pet only lacking the bracers, my BST pet still needs all 8 slots and the Bard himself still needs like 8 slots of shit leveled if I dont get lego drops, which I wont. Oh and that amount of AA above does not include like 300-400 I already consumed for item EXP (they dont show up on the total).
Not to mention my other characters which only have like 1/2 their shit. PAL/BER/MNK...SHM/ROG/SK... And I have not touched the other 2 at all, still sitting at lv60 with BIS lucy gear. SK/RNG/BRD...CLR/BER/MNK
Like you said, its one thing to be gaining AA in DN WHILE also leveling the items. But once you reach a solid 2K AA most thereafter are useless and like you said, feels super dull.

Yeah, fundamentally they lowered his min hit and raised his max hit to expand his overall range of damage to allow MIT to be more effective (as previously there was very little diff between min/max hits). Solo facetanking with 1050 or 1300 MIT pre-/post-patch (and post-patch he's doing less average DPS), I can get to the Luclin mob just fighting him normally and it's not terrible just by min/max'ing Shielding, HDEX, and Avoid as a class comp with all the defensive skills. The Luclin mobs are ultimately too disruptive for me to deal with one way or the other though (and I've never gotten whatever the gimp mob is for that round), so that's as far as it goes for me going about it that way.
If I bull rush him, I can get him to phase 2 while using all of the mobs to boost my DPS, but my max DPS even with that is an inconsistent ~20k and that's just not enough to burst through the regen. I can maybe bring in Innoruuk's adds or Vallon's clones and use them for more Rip Disc+DF damage, but they're painful enough as it is to tank with when fighting mobs that do a fraction of the DPS that Zeb and his adds do, so I'd be entirely at the mercy of clickies for keeping me alive to even get to the point of initiating my burn.
I'm resigned to leave him unkilled until sometime in GoD like I did with Seru +2/3/4, but it does feel like with him being on farm status for all non-solo's that they should maybe scale the encounter down for solos or make an easy/hard mode of it.

Yeah that's where I'm at too. I really have no desire to try to duo anything. Moving through the content is pretty fun and I like trying to see how much I can get out of the character combo in terms of run times, single fight dps, etc. Working on alts makes the economy piece of it fun as well. The volume of stuff that moves through the server definitely causes some serious over-saturation issues over time.
While I play a bard and am directly impacted by the DDD thing, I think tuning down the out of line stuff is important. I'd like some of the fights to be more difficult, but if that forces everyone to one of a small handful of broken builds, that sort of defeats the purpose.

Yeah, exactly. If some broken combo can do 4/4 Seru in era, but no others can (e.g., petcuck), suddenly you see a huge funnel of people copying that build and abandoning everything else as useless. Makes balancing hard. I wish there was more hard content (maybe 2/4 Seru hard) and that there weren't 2-3 builds that could faceroll it. I think Petcuck, dopples and maybe formerly DDD builds were the obvious out of line combos. Streamline that and then you can balance the difficulty of the encounters more uniformly.
