Kind of disappointed. Was hoping this was a retrospective on Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and of course Willie Nelson.

Looks interesting at least.

I enjoyed it. It's like, if a diet The Untouchables fucked a diet True Detective Season 1, the baby would be this movie about Bonnie and Clyde.

It was an underwhelming movie. It's a character piece rather than a cop story which could have been fine but it was just kind of boring. It's got the typical Netflix smell all over it, a weak script that wouldn't have gotten the attention of major movie studios with some very good actors carrying it. The movie feels very long and drawn out and for some reason they decided to never really show much of bonnie and clyde, especially bonnie. Whenever you saw her it was just a shot of her legs while she dragged her gimp foot around until the very end.

Well said.

Woody is Woody, Costner is Clint Eastwood. That's pretty much the entire appeal of the movie.

Totally on point. About the history side of it, I was baffled the characters actually existed. For some reason I always thought it was the FBI who killed them. I enjoyed more reading Hamer / Texas Rangers Wikipedia pages than the actual movie.

This and the Motley Crue film both suffer the same problem, the stories rush to reach their conclusions and have zero hills or turns on the road to get there. Do they not hire writers who do not know how to build a screenplay in acts? There is Almost no tension building. They are more music video with words than story telling journeys. It wasnt horrible, just seemed sorta phoned in story wise and was paced too quickly.
