Anyone seen this? I had anticipated the movie for quite a while and just recently came across a blu ray rip. It's a Danish film about a divorced teacher (Mads Mikkelsen) who is terrorized by members of his community after a rumor circulates around town. It's one of the best films I've seen.

I had this on my "To Watch" list for several months, and I just got around to watching it a couple weeks ago. Damn fine movie. The ending is a kind of love it or hate thing, but I think it works for the film. Mads Mikkelsen has been one of my favorite actors ever since Valhalla Rising, and he knocks it out of the park in this flick too.

While Mikkelsen was good, I was mostly impressed by Thomas Bo Larsen who plays the neighbor. That said, I am not a huge fan of the film overall because its stubbornness to refuse dramaturgy left me narratively unsatisfied. That and the nauseating discourse, but let's not get all gender study, because it never ends well.
