On a side note, saw Will Forte at a screening of the movie Extra Ordinary back in March (literally like a week before society closed down) and at the end of the show he and the lead lady + director all went up on stage for some q&a. No joke 90% of the questions were directed at Will and probably 75% if those were asking about Last Man. He went into detail about how their plan was that they were supposed to be brought underground to a fallout style base where eventually they would help all these survivors discover the virus had an extremely short life, so effectively the entire world was habitable again. Then people would start getting sick and they were going to figure out that they were not only immune, but permanent carriers - basically their bodies became mobile virus factories. They envisioned the last episode would be panning through this shelter at the hundreds of bodies up to the surface where they would all be standing and doing a "woops, our bad." kind of thing. They didn't know where they would go past that, but yeah, the season would end with them knowing that they would kill any other humans they found unless they were also immune.

Also he's a treasure.
