Sarkeesian had a hand in wrecking this franchise as Druckman was a disciple of her bullshit. The core story elements had already been hashed out for the first game by Amy Hennig (who was lead on all the non shit Uncharted Games) before Druckman forced her out and took over for "not being inclusive enough". Druckman then took over both the early draft of the first game and scrapped most of her work on Uncharted 4. Its basically around the time of the first game's DLC where he ran out of material to poach and started cramming as much "message" into the game, which is why you spend a ridiculous amount of time on a 13 year old lesbian date sim chasing a sheboon terrorist around. People forget how pissed off normal people were at that DLC and how much it gave everyone a heads up on Part 2 and what it was going to be like.
And then he ham fistedly tried to change the main character to Gigantor by literally destroying all the prior good work from the first game in the first act. And this is what is going on in the show as well, a bunch of commie girl boss virtue signaling wrapped in more gay than Liberache at a French wine bar. Other than the Last Jedi, I have never seen a franchise work so hard to alienate all of its fans and destroy itself. Even most shit libs who this show/game are aimed at are quietly walking away, trying to avoid saying anything negative so they don't get cancelled off of the alphabet gibs boat. And Druckman meanwhile basically is engaging in petty shit like attacking You Tubers who criticize the flaws, going as far as to try and get Drinker's channel shut down on some completely bullshit copyright claim before that backfired dramatically.
Fucking sucks, knowing what could have been. But you can never let agenda pushing take over your company because it is cancerous and always ends in destruction.
