The Mars Volta Break Up

About the same for me. Past the first two, I think I listened to their other albums maybe 2-3 times and just went back to the first two when I felt the need for a 12 minute guitar solo.

Meh.

now I kinda have the urge to catch up on them. I worshiped those first two albums but really trailed off over that, barely listening to Amputechture (by comparison) and basically comparing trailing off after Bedlam. I haven't even heard their most recent album but just that picture in the article makes me crave some Omar

fuck, I feel like deloused is gonna be on a loop this week

Thought FtM was good.. but everything after FTM was meh.

Their drummer Thomas Pridgen, is about to release an album with Dug Pinnick from King's X and Eric Gales (solo guitarist).
