My absolute favorite frontman of all time. Easily seen him live 10 times both solo and with sabbath.

An absolute icon.

Here's a new release from today. When I discovered metal back in 91, Black Sabbath's discography was the first dive. This band was the second.

Fuck, the Sword are so good.

I wish John didn't abandon it a couple of years back (and then come back) - we missed a probably pretty awesome album somewhere in there.

Hell yeah, I got the first two CDs before they were popular and then I kind of phased our of metal for a bit, but they're awesome.

I haven't kept up with what they've been doing, you probably the same thing for a lot of metal bands, but I'm pretty sure I've posted their videos in this thread in the past.

Good stuff though...

Probably should have hung it up a decade ago.

Megadeth was my first show, in '99. Marty Friedman and Dave signed my copy of Cryptic Writings. I still wish I had brought a better album.

Saw them with Amon Amarth in Wisconsin like a decade ago and I couldn't even sit thru their show. It was just.....slow, and off.

Slayer went the right way, just bow the fuck out and call it good. You don't gotta keep grinding till you suck.
