I can't imagine it does well overseas with these changes. The chinks and japs hate blacks and gays so that's off the table. Eurotrash isn't a large market and I doubt they'd be happy with these changes other than liberal cucks in Britain.
Japan be like

It's going for award nominations (Elliot Page) rather than just making a good movie. I'm out.

Yarp

What a shit cast

Also note that almost everybody in the cast are outspoken about their politics, so they've all passed the most important part of Hollywood blockbuster casting.

Nolan is like a porn director fucking actresses on his couch, except it's a politics couch and the fucking is metaphorical.

Meanwhile, actual talent like Scott Adkins can't even get the time of day from major studios...

As of like 2 weeks ago we are closer now to the year 2050 than to the year 2000

most kids under 20 have no idea really what 9/11 means, just a day "we remember"

now you will REALLY feel old

Holy shit.

I remember it pretty well. Everything stopped. Every. Single. Person. At my work was watching the news or calling family. Zero work was done that day. In fact, work had only been open a few hours before all of us were sent home.

I'll never forget the fear, horror and tremble in my coworkers voice as she frantically tried to get a hold of her husband. You're right, younger people today won't ever understand the significance and impact that day had.

They will never understand how the USA came to a screeching halt. How there was no "Right or Left" or "Democrats or Republicans" it was America and Americans. The round the clock coverage and the thousands of Americans across the country that mobilized to aid in recovery and clean up. I have a feeling that is lost now.

Look at the floods in Texas. Yes, many came to help and even had to be sent away because too many people came to help but also way too many people saying they deserved it and the kids deserved it. That's what some people are now...

Yeah, 9/11 really was a moment of national unity. It got completely squandered by 2003 with the Iraq bullshit re-dividing people into two camps again, but we had something really important for a bit there that we'll probably never have again. The amount of people wishing death on other people over trivial bullshit like beliefs is pretty untenable (and very similar to the Middle Ages, if you think about it)

I absolutely agree. I know it's fairly common knowledge but it's mind blowing still that it's always the most unintelligent people that wish death on others over stupid shit. So the Middle Ages, even peasant mentality fits.

What's even more screwed up is the black rapper guy or I think he's a rapper is supposed to be playing Agamemnon, which I guess is the dumbass reason he's using the cast The Ethiopian bitch as Felon of Detroy.
He's not playing Agamemnon. That's Benny Safdie.

Hate seeing one of the few directors I know bow the knee so hard. Also Zendaya is fucking terrible. She’s a racist piece of shit anyway.

Googling this to find out what Zendaya said that was racist, but literally all that's popping up are articles about how courageous she is for taking a bold stand on social justice issues. Is this what full spectrum astroturfing looks like?

Also found this. It seems like complete bullshit. Has Sydney Sweeney ever even expressed her political views? She avoids talking about it like the plague and has never "expressed support for Trump" that I know of outside of mentioning once years ago that her family are republican. She refused to apologize for the jeans ad because the "backlash" over it was profoundly stupid and she recognized that bending the knee is admission of guilt, something you don't do when you've done nothing wrong. These people like Zendaya are such intolerant nutjobs when they get even a whiff that you're not on the same side as them. It's so unsurprising that that study showed left-wing women are the most intolerant group of people in the US and are more intolerant of their own allies than right-wing men are of their ideological opponents.

Anyway, Zendaya sucks and casting her in every goddamn thing is really fucking tiresome. She can't act; she's just one of the pet projects of the Hollywood elite, checking all the boxes and being a good vehicle to get The Message to the kids.

I'm more mad that Zendaya is in this piece of shit than I am that they miscast Helen of Troy.

It's all pretty lame because I love The Odyssey. First we get a butchering of Animal Farm that intentionally misses (and even inverts) the entire point of the story, now this.

"Vote correctly or the world will catch on fire" isn't even that different from the Middle Ages status quo of "everyone needs to believe in OUR God or else armageddon will happen"

Putting aside climate shifts and all that jazz, what we have here at its root is half the people wanting to be left the fuck alone and the other half not only being unable to leave them alone, but also demanding agreement/fealty from the first half.

The raw hate towards celebrities/anybody who "believes the wrong thing" is nutso. Every time I turn around I'm reading a reddit post or a comment thread on YT about how people are disowning a content creator because the content creator interviewed someone who's on the wrong side, or didn't disavow something someone said. People are attacking the Why Files guy because he had a Nerdrotic mug on his desk in one of his recent videos. Wait until they notice he has a pro-police sign in the background of most of his videos from the early 2020's!

Guy just wants to make videos about science, archaeology, lost civilizations, and cool ghost stories, and he's being held to impossible ideological standards by parasocial weirdoes.

How many millions had to be murdered in Russia, the far east, and latin america to implement communism making everyone equal?

That's what happens when an ideology is so fucking flimsy that the only way for it to be dominant is by removing all opposition to it, censoring all questioning of it, and banning so much as counter-arguments. Just keep killing people until their shitty nonsense ideology can run unopposed because it's such utter garbage that any opposition at all causes the house of cards to collapse.

"We just want to give people health care" is like Jack the Ripper showing up with a birthday cake.
