Maybe it’s me, but I wish there was a budget for a hardcore Batman show. I always viewed Batman as stemming an onslaught tide. I’d love a long running series showing him going toe to toe with the mafia with a rogue’s gallery in the background. Give me the Two Face story but make it a much longer and tragic arc with his kids and wife like the comics.
WB would never deign to have serious Batman not be a movie. Gotham was shit. All Batman TV has been shit.
That said, I’ll definitely watch this once it lands. He was fucking awesome as the character and a great take on the character.

huh takes place after the movie thats cool, thought it was a prequel for some reason. i still don't really get how you do a show and never have batman show up but we'll see i guess

Is there any talk of them doing another film with Pattinson, or will he maybe show up in the series? Honestly really enjoyed the last one. Watched it not too long ago for a second viewing, and it was one of the better movies I've seen in a handful of years. I would actually be excited for more, well that's not something I say often when it comes to modern day cinema.

I could give two shits about the joker movie, but what's this brave and bold Batman? Is he going to be gay and black? Sorry I don't keep up with the comics or the animated stuff.
That is good news though after making another film. Hopefully it'll somehow tie into the penguin series. I might actually go to the movie theater to see something like that.
Wonder who though end up having as villains this time? I'm assuming maybe the penguin, maybe joker?
