I think they already picked some other retard to play Batman in the new film. Saw some article about it the other day and apparently the guys is a stuntman or something. Could have been BS, but if it's true it really sucks. Honestly like Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.
I thought the last film was really enjoyable because he was being a detective, the world's greatest detective.
I guess that's why I'm kind of phased out of a lot of these superhero movies because there's no continuity within a particular franchise.

you might be confusing batmans. Matt Reeves The Batman 2 is completely seperate from James Gunn new DC universe. Gunn is working on The Brave and the Bold with a new actor and the story will involve presumably an older batman along with his son Damien Wayne. Gunn hopes to intro the DCU batman in an earlier movie, maybe Teen Titans or something like that, but he hasn't cast anyone yet. Pattinson will be the batman in Reeves Batman 2 which is still finishing the script (partially done) and was delayed from 2026 to 2027.
I'm guessing a lot of this stuff is on pause until Superman releases. If its a huge hit then Gunn has carte blanche and will probably wind down Reeves Batman with no more TV shows. If Superman is mid or a flop then they will probably try to fold in Reeves Batman into the DCU project as its the only success.

He was always hateable. I honestly feel like this is one of the best portrayals of a truly evil but realistic person. He gets humanized like a lot of villains do but that only reveals, in the end, the depth of his depravity. What he does to Vic and keeping his mom alive was just the cherry on top of an entire season showing he's all ego, greed, and narcissism. In some ways he probably believes the bullshit he spins but he makes me recall Patrick Bateman more than anything -- the human part of him simply is not there. His blubbering at his mom not seeing his ultimate victory was really just about him not getting the validation he wanted, not about her being happy.
