Emergency medicine does, people get enough antibiotics to sew up a dirty dish rag and be fine for a few weeks afterwards anyway. Mom did ER shifts for a few years as an RN so got to hear all about it.

I mean, the two are hardly the same are they? Surgical masks are designed to stop the droplets full of bacteria coming out your mouth when you talk. Not ideal to get that poz load direct into your gaping chest cavity.
