Between that, the illegals, and the "brown woman" who doctors don't listen to, this episode seemed to go heavier than normal on the woke shit. The first season definitely had some, but more seems to be sneaking in this season. Which is disappointing.

Having had to rehab several morbidly obese individuals (including a couple 750 pounders, which is over the weight capacity of most mechanical lifts in the hospital...) they reach those weights because modernity and people in their lives enable it. Food gets delivered right to their doors, or family hand delivers it to their mouths, they have mobility that doesn't require them to walk, if they need emergency medical assistance teams of firemen will haul them out...
And it's all calorie dense garbage, sodas, pastries, fast foods, chips, chocolate bars, etc.
Don't know if the episode in question went into it, but the best part of acute care for the morbidly obese is the cleaning their body part of it. They literally can not reach (and water can not flow into) the places that need cleaning, so it takes teams of nurses (usually the HCAs) to hold back the flab and fat folds in order to clean the crevasses that probably have been thoroughly cleaned in months/years.
But it's okay, we wouldn't want to hurt their fee-fees.

i think it's more than that
it's that one outcast in the group no one likes but deals w/ b/c the group is there. she is basically shit to be around and her logical reasoning (from her pov) is b/c she narc'd on landon, who everyone loves.
she has to blame someone/something for her shortcomings which she has never noticed or addressed

might be mad that she was about to leave/is going to leave/hasn't told anyone she was going to leave (she wanted 1 leg docs rec), and they all know the reason she is going(was) leaving, was to be w/ her mom and this might also be abandonment issues w/ robbie cuz it seems like shes been at the pitt since she was a med student i think, shes a 4th yr and maybe wanted her to stay senior resident, since langdon dropped the ball. (and robbie technically doesn't have a goto guy, the only other residents is mccay and mel)

Our company has a rule that any jewelry is not allowed at work, makes sense don't want to work with electricity with a conductive metal on your body. I had a guy working for me in SC that had his titanium wedding ring on and slipped off a ladder and had his finger degloved like that. They wanted to amputate and he refused , went to a lot of surgery but saved his finger. This was before he came to work for us but I told him to leave that shit at home. The lady coming around and looking over at her foot was wild.
Sure seems like this show goes by REAL fast. Something to look forward to every week.

I was telling my wife yesterday about being in a company meeting. One of the superintendents was covered in tattoos including his face. He had tear drop tattoos on his cheeks and 'N.W.A' on his cheek. And he was white. The cringe was high. Must be a west coast thing.
