I'm probably the wrong guy to watch legal shows but this shit is stupid. The level of writing is about like a CW show.

it was laughably bad. Also it re-used the same (based on true events) killer nurse who steals drugs from the hospital plot from Netflix's The Good Nurse and some other show recently stole it as well in the last year or so.

Show misunderstands what a "rain maker" even is. It's not an ambulance chaser that goes out looking for Plaintiffs to sign up and then handles their cases. A real "rain maker" is an equity partner who goes out and gets corporate or insurance clients, usually on the defense side of things, who then passes on the legal work to their associates. I mean, unless the titular character is supposed to be John Slattery's character I guess.

On the show's plus side of things, Lana Parrilla.....

The sign of bad writing is when you force your characters to act stupid in order to advance the plot or set up the thing you wanted to happen.

The list of stupid things the characters have done to advance the plot is long and gay.

Skip this shit.
