Pretty decent movie, a little more action oriented and convoluted than the 2007 original it is based on, also much longer which does not serve it necessarily. It's nice that Jacky Chan in his 70s is still limber enough to do action on screen without it being cringe (the same cannot be said for all aging action stars).

The 2007 film, Eye in the Sky, was written and directed by Yau Nai-hoi who is the long time scenarist of Johnnie To for films such as The Mission, PTU, Election, Drug War, etc so it's no surprise that it has a tighter script and is the better movie, but that remake was still nice to see.

The film also had a 2014 korean remake called Cold Eyes that I saw back then. It was probably ok since the floor quality for korean thriller is pretty high, but I don't remember the movie (in my defense I saw it in the middle of a festival binge of 7 or 8 films a day for 2 weeks...).
