Actually had to switch to micros today because the ATR was so huge. Got my new account to 3.5k on 17 trades. Just watch every trump interview / press conference. If he mentions tariffs... click the sell button and bank it. Today was not the day to fade the extremes.

I think I’ve never done anything except buy when the market dips like this, and I’ve 100% of the time made money in the long run. Like those doofuses panic selling Broadcom when deepseek came out, I made so much money off that buying at thr low end

As I'm not a day trading type and a buy and hold investor I know all about keeping eyes on the future... Which might be the only thing keeping me from despair.
But NGL, I've lost around a MacLaren in the last 6 weeks, and a nice Caddy since Monday, and it stings.

I’m just assuming these tariffs will be gone in a year, and we will return to normal. In any case, as a holder I am not selling anything the next 20 years or so. At least that is the plan. For the near future it can get much worse than this, that is for sure.

I would buy now if I hadn’t already, but then a further drop would REALLY sting lol. An eventual rebound could take decades. Or not. Who knows?

Took out an ATM put on NNE for May 16th(monthly). This is a post IPO stock, maybe a yearish old that had a brief runup and is now showing all signs of a strong downward trend. It has virtually no support below.
Unlike other trades I do looking for a quick 5%+ in/out in less than week, this one I am hoping for large gains. A 2$ drop would be about 80% up between now and expiry.

These last few weeks have been tough for my strategy. You can't really fade the extremes in complete sell-offs. The one trade that always works though is the 21EMA bounce off the 2m chart, on NQ. I use the 38EMA on the 1m chart, its equivalent to the 21EMA on the 2m.
If it hasn't touched it in a while, it will almost always bounce off it once (for a quick 10-15 points).

Bought some ASST yesterday. Up 55% as of pre-market. ASST itself was up 455% yesterday, i was not on the train early enough to catch that move. Small entry, but was worth throwing some money at a BTC Proxy. Will pull my initial capital out if it hits 100% today and let the rest ride.
Lol - already halted this morning. Up over 100% on my trade is just silly shit for less than a day.
I’ve had similar issues before, and a big part of it was confusion during the take profit trader withdrawal process. They flagged my account for trying to withdraw too soon after closing trades, so make sure you meet all their payout conditions first. It’s easy to miss the fine print around trade duration and lot size. Once I adjusted for that, things smoothed out.
