Just saw it with the kids. Lots of nostalgia and gags. The critics are just retarded and et up with hating Pratt, and hating movies without social commentary. Same vein as the first. Generic kids movie laced with references.
I didn't watch so much as a preview so reveals and stuff worked on me. The 5 and 7 year old enjoyed it.
I was convinced Rosalina would become the main character and go girl boss rampant but she didn't. So good job illumination
This was fine. Hit their intended audience well. I mean let’s face it, Super Mario is not known for narrative. Felt kinda short actually. I saw it with a crew of 5-8 year olds. They approved.
I took the kids to see this. They really enjoyed it. My daughter has played Mario Galaxy, and she loved how it brought back a lot of the elements from the game.
If you waited until the total after credits scene that showed Princes Daisey, I'm pretty sure she was the one from Mario 2. They threw an onion at one of the monsters, just like Mario 2.
EDIT: I did a google search to find out I was wrong. She was a character that started in Super Mario Land for the original Game Boy. Been in a lot of stuff since then.
Just went to see it, was not a ground breaking movie or anything but was entertaining enough that I didn't feel bored at all during it.
I do have a few gripes about it though.
1: I didn't like the voice acting choice for Princess Rosalina, guess it just didn't seem to click for me.
2: Changing the origin story for Rosalina and then making her and Peach sisters felt like a very odd choice.
3: Fox McCloud's portrayal also felt off, I always expected him to be more professional and less of a show off which was more a Falco thing.
4: like a six minute fight scene with ninjis and only one minute with the big badass looking paint dragon.
5: The ending seemed really abrupt, like there was a lack of solid build up to finding planet bowser as they were just like "Yep, here we are".
1080p SyncUP Webrip is out, really good video quality and more than good enough for keedz if you wanna save some money. proper 4Ks aren't gonna be out until early may.
